Description
As captain on board, you will set off for a day in the bay of Le François or Le Robert, discovering the islets and white sandbanks, moving at your own pace and according to your wishes.
You will board a Cap Camarat 3.70, equipped with all necessary safety equipment for navigation, a sunshade awning, music, a cooler, and a swimming ladder. The boat is easy to use, and David will take the time to explain everything before your departure.
He will provide you with a GPS showing your pre-set navigation route. Departures are at 9:00 AM with return at 4:00 PM. If you encounter any difficulties, there is no need to worry — you can contact David, who is never far away.
Two recommended routes:
• LE ROBERT ROUTE
Departing from Pointe la Rose Sud, you will follow the mangrove toward Îlet Madame, Îlet la Grotte, and Îlet Chancel. On these islets you can discover:
* A protected reserve of endemic iguanas living in their natural habitat
* Remains of an old sugar factory
* An impressive strangler fig tree
* Trapèze Beach and its beautiful white sandbanks
* Possibility of having lunch on Îlet Madame, which has picnic areas
• LE FRANÇOIS ROUTE
Also departing from Pointe la Rose Sud, you will follow the coastline and mangrove toward Îlet Oscar, Îlet Thierry, and the famous Joséphine’s Bathtub.
You can stop at Îlet Thierry for lunch and enjoy the shallow waters of the white sandbanks.
